Now ..Enough has to be Enough !

Yes this is just another post by just another Indian on just another Terror strike...
To say the truth my conscience is telling me that this is not just another Terror strike...
This is really brazen attempt to ruin the Indian Respect. Hotel Taj Mahal and The Oberoi are symbols of the Indian Juggernaut on the path of economic growth. Hit these symbols n u'll hit the Indian turban directly. But if I remember correctly on 13th Dec 2001, similar but futile attemt was made by the Let Militants, at the time of Parliament attack !

Needless to say that an attack on world's largest democracy had to be the most brazen one and so should have been the answer from the then Indian goverment.
Yes they made POTA which was later abolished by other government but these steps are analogous to the situation that your mother is being beaten and you are convening a society meeting to tighten the local security.

I do understand that we are not like Israel that we are gonna blast all terrorist camps in POK and other areas of Pakistan (I hope at some time we could !) but still there has to be a concrete step taken somewhere. And if it is not today then it will never be !!!

Media, in these tough times has played a leading role. It has been a great medium to not only spread awareness among people all over the country but also be a reflection of the common man's sentiment.

Yesterday I was watching this program in which Barkha was the anchor and audience was also participating. People were furious over today's politicians and we have every right to be angry.
But one good point was made by Sharmila Tagore that we should channelise our anger to pressurise the goverment. We just cannot be at war with Pakistan as this is what Perpratators of violence want us to do. She also added that we don't want a situation in which pakistan- india border is sealed and the Pak-Afghan border becomes weak, which is very much possible in a state of Indo-Pak war.

On the other hand remarks like "Bade bade shahron mein aise chhote chhote incident ho hi jaate hain" directly from deputy C.M. of Maharashtra is very insensitive. Some similar instances of insensitiveness were shown by the state's CM himself and BJP's national Vice President Mukhtar abbas Nakwi too. Its very

This country who boasts of leaders like Lal Bahadur Shastri is going through a deep dark period of weak political will and inaction. Amar Shahid Maj. Unni Krishnan's father's warning to Kerala CM to stay out of his premises is the true depiction of the anger all of us have. It is unfortunate that in a country where crores of rupees are wasted in election rallies ATS chief dies of bullet injuries into his chest and that too despite his wearing a bullet proof jacket.

It's really ironical that we can reach to moon but cannot have suffiently strong infrustructure for our security forces.I would like to see an enquiry into this area. Hope the media picks up this point. However there is still a ray of hope because I also see today's young politicians like Milind Deora who are talking straight despite the fact that their own party is in question along with other parties be it BJP, left etc. how many such youth icons come into this political mess to clean it up only time will tell.

We as a people cannot afford to waste this oppurtunity to fill in the holes in the deocracy these "Netas" have made. Infact this a blessing in disguise for these politicians to correct themselves and act like true leaders.
Pakistan now has a goverment elected by the people unlike the Musharraf regime. They are also feeling the heat of terrorism in their own country. Lal Masjid, J.W.Marriott blast are enough for them to realize who is the real enemy and I have a feeling that Pak goverment is aware of the fact that it is not far that they will fall prey in the hands of terrorist organizations like Hizbul Mujahidin, LeT etc. to which they only gave birth.

Some of the Pak journalists are saying that India is overestimating these terror groups along with ISI and more importantly underestimating the Pak Government. They are also saying that Pakistani janta and the political leadership knows that having good relations with India are in their interset too more so economically.

Regardless of what Pak feels India and its over 1 billion people will be assuaged only when Pak takes some concrete actions against the terrorist groups in their own home. Steps only of the cadre of Extraditing some top notch terrorists to India or Cracking down the Training camps will be the one accepted to India.
Indian politician, like it or not thay have to move fast in order to respect public sentiment and more so to regain the lost faith of people in them otherwise they are in a great danger !
